We carefully select exercises and training volumes which are appropriate for the health, fitness, age and skill-level of each participant. At Salt Shack, we can accommodate both experienced individuals and newcomers to the gym. Whether you have advanced skills or have never stepped foot in a gym before, we have something for everyone.
An important factor in the program is variety. By incorporating different movements into our strength and conditioning program we avoid specialization. Early specialization among young athletes can lead to overuse injuries from repetitive motions and a lack of development of other motor skills. Our program provides teens with the ability and confidence required to stay strong and healthy through the years ahead.
We adapt our workouts to the specific needs and abilities of young athletes, ensuring a safe and effective experience
We use a variety of games, activities, and challenges to make fitness fun and engaging for all participants
We focus on teaching proper technique for fundamental movements, including weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio
We create a supportive and encouraging environment where kids can build self-esteem and develop a love of physical activity
