Salt Shack CrossFit

At Salt Shack CrossFit, Hanover, MA you will not find rows of stationary bikes and weight machines. Instead you will find a pull-up rig, barbells, rowers and wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing and moving your body the way it is meant to be moved. It means that all your workouts will be comprised of exercises that mimic movements performed in day-to-day life or sport. We recognize that people have specific strength and fitness goals. To help you reach these goals, in addition to our group classes, we offer open gym training times, as well as private coaching.

We Are Different

To get the results, you need intensity and variety. Our classes are high intensity and constantly varied workouts. With our small group training classes, you’ll get the same attention as you would with a personal trainer but receive encouragement and motivation from a small group working toward one goal.

We keep classes small to ensure that each client feels supported, successful and motivated to work at the intensity that’s right for them. If you thrive working out in a group – we have a class that’s right for you. Most classes are 60 minutes and include a warm-up followed by skill and strength training and a Workout Of the Day (WOD).

Whether you are new to fitness, an elite athlete, or somewhere in between, our progression-based program can help you reach your fitness goals.

Each and every class you will work your body from head to toe through compound movements using multiple muscle groups at one time. Every class is a different workout.
